1. The selection of brushless motor first needs to consider the requirements of the motor:

① The power of the brushless motor: how many watts is the maximum required

② The speed of the brushless motor: how many revolutions/minute should be the fastest

③, the voltage of the brushless motor: how many volts will be used to drive the motor

④ The size of the brushless motor: how big the diameter is, how long the motor should be, and what size is needed for the shaft diameter

⑤, the brushless motor needs to be equipped with Hall or without Hall

⑥. If you need a very low output speed, you need to consider whether to match a gearbox and what kind of gearbox to match

2. After the selection of the brushless motor is determined, the matching of the brushless motor driver/controller is then considered:

① First of all, the power of the brushless motor driver/controller should be greater than or meet the power of the selected brushless motor

②Whether the function of the brushless motor driver/controller meets the needs, for example, there are multiple options for the speed control method such as analog

③. If there is a communication control requirement, you need to see which brushless motor driver/controller has communication control function, such as RS485, etc.

④. Different brushless motor drivers/controllers have huge differences in size or installation style, and need to be carefully confirmed

⑤. Do you need a digital display: The general brushless motor driver/controller has no display or just a simple display. If you need accurate digital display function, you need to install a high-profile brushless motor driver/controller. Additional confirmation is required

⑥ Whether there are more complex control requirements: It is necessary to distinguish between the brushless motor driver/controller, the latter can perform some more complex control on the brushless motor, but the cost is relatively higher.

①. After the selection of brushless motor and brushless motor driver/controller is determined, there is another selection that is very important, that is, the selection of switching power supply. On the basis of the power supply voltage meeting the requirements, the power supply is required to be higher than that of the motor. The power is 30% or 50% higher, so that the power supply will be overloaded when the motor is switched in fast motion.

② It is recommended to use the linear power supply after rectification and filtering, and the power should be appropriately increased.
