The working principle of micro DC motor

1. The composition of a DC motor: It is composed of a stator and a rotor.

1. The stator includes: main magnetic pole, frame, commutating pole, brush device, etc.

2. The rotor includes: armature core, armature winding, commutator, shaft and fan, etc.

2. The principle of DC motor:

When the armature turns 180°, the conductor cd turns to the N pole and the conductor ab turns to the S pole. Since the direction of the current supplied by the DC power supply remains unchanged, it still flows in from the brush A. After passing through the conductors cd and ab, Flow out from brush B. At this time, the direction of the force on the conductor cd changes from right to left, and the direction of the force on the conductor ab is from left to right, and the direction of the electromagnetic torque generated is still counterclockwise. Therefore, once the armature rotates, due to the commutator cooperates with the commutation effect of the brush on the current, the direct current flows in alternately from the conductors ab and cd, so that as long as the coil side is under the N pole, the direction of the current passing is always by the electric current. The direction in which the brush A flows in, and the direction in which it flows out of the brush B when the S pole is below. This ensures that the current in the coil side of each pole is always in one direction, thereby forming a torque with a constant direction, so that the motor can continuously rotate.

3. Features of 40W-80mm DC Worm Gear Right Angle Brush Gear Motor:

1. The efficiency of the micro DC motor is generally higher than that of other types of motors, so to achieve the same output power, the volume of the DC motor is generally relatively small. For limited installation locations, micro DC motors are relatively suitable.

2. The micro DC motor has a feature that the motor can automatically reduce the speed according to the size of the load to achieve a great starting torque. At this point, AC motors are more difficult. In addition, the DC motor is easier to absorb sudden changes in the load size, and the motor speed can automatically adapt to the load size.
